Springfield Armory has introduced their newest handgun, the 1911 DS Prodigy. This 1911 style handgun has been updated to give it a modern feel. The DS Prodigy features a 4.25" steel bull barrel and comes with one 20 round magazine and one 17 round magazine. The steel frame is cerakoted black, while the highly textured polymer grips ensure a secure hold on the firearm. The steel slide utilizes Springfield's Agency Optic System which allows the mounting of a red dot optic. The raised fiber optic front and u-notch rear sights allow for absolute co-witness with a red dot. The Prodigy from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with double-stack capacity and a performance-driven feature set.
