The second in Henry's Patriotic Series is a hard-hitting .44 Magnum Big Boy that splits the difference between a beautiful display rifle and a hard-working hunting gun. This big-bore God Bless America centerfire lever action is a fine example of the gunmaker's craft and the engraver's art, and it's meant to be every bit as much of a stand-out on the range as it is to be a dependable game-getter in the woods. This rifle features a blued 20" octagon barrel, standard adjustable buck and bead sights, unobtrusive transfer bar safety, and fancy American walnut furniture. The receiver has engraving on both sides that forms an accented background for a 24K gold "God Bless America" banner. On the left, the Liberty Bell that shows in raised gold relief right next to another "God Bless America" gold banner. In a painted mural on the stock's right rear side, 8 Americans from all walks of life stand in silhouette contemplating the proudly waving Stars and Stripes, above a gold banner bearing the opening words to the national anthem, "O Say Can You See."

The Henry Pump Octagon, available in calibers .22LR or .22 Magnum, is one gun that is built for fun. It also sports a grooved receiver for mounting a scope, and Marbles semi-buckhorn fully adjustable rear sights with standard 3/8? dovetail slots enabling you to change sights if you choose to do so. Beautifully finished American walnut is used for the stock. The .22LR version can hold 15 rounds of .22LR and as much as 21 rounds of .22Short. The capacity of the .22 Magnum is 12 rounds. If you must extract an unfired cartridge from the chamber, we have included a grooved release button at the right front of the trigger guard.
