The DWX from Dan Wesson is designed initially for competition use. It is a melding of Dan Wesson and CZ pistols. Borrowing the crisp single action fire control group of a DW 1911 and combining it with the ergonomics and capacity of a CZ, the resulting pistol emerged as something great. Its locked breech barrel system uses the CZ-style takedown via the slide stop. Sights are easily customized, using a 1911-style dovetailed sight in the front and a CZ Shadow 2 style sight cut in the rear. For those who want to acquire the front sight quickly in daytime lighting, a fiber optic sight gathers in light and creates a glowing dot that is hard to miss even against a bright background. Adjustable Rear Sight, Great at the range, this sight is adjustable for height and has a serrated rear face, knocking down glare and giving a crisp sight picture. CZ-75 Profile Frame, for exceptional grip and ergonomics Front Serrations, forward cocking serrations give solid purchase for press-checks.Serrated Rib, Dan Wesson's flat top rib reduces any glare between the front and rear sight. Square Hammer, this is their spin on an edgier, tactical, Commander hammer. Flat K style trigger, the flat K-style trigger is a twist on the standard three-hole trigger that looks like a K. Ambi Safety, Grip Safety, an ambidextrous safety allows for an easy to access to the safety for both left-handed and right-hand shooters. Rail, equipped with a 1913 Picatinny rail, adding a light or laser is a simple operation. Mainspring Housing Checkering, their 25 LPI checkering on the flat mainspring housing provides the means for a superb grip.

The latest evolution in CZ's semi-automatic shotgun line, the 1012 uses a gas-less inertia operating system. Instead of redirecting gas from the barrel to run the action, the 1012 uses a spring within the bolt to store energy during the shotguns recoil, spending this energy a split second later to rotate and unlock the twin lugs from the barrel extension and withdraw the spent shell.

The Bren 2 MS makes first landfall in the US in pistol form with multiple barrel lengths and two chamberings. With a trimmed-down aluminum receiver and a lower made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, the result is a robust but substantially lighter gun. Gone is the reciprocating charging handle, replaced with one that stays stowed in the forward position until it is needed. Swappable from side to side, it does double duty as a forward assist. Also added is an AR-style bolt catch/release system that is mirrored on both sides of the firearm, as well as a catch/release nestled into the front of the trigger guard. The magazine release and safety are ambidextrous. In pistol form, the Bren 2 Ms comes with a flush rear plate that has the provision for attaching a AR-style buffer tube for the installation of an arm brace, cheek rest, or similar pistol stabilizing device. AR-15 style magazines are used for 223 variants; all variants are swappable to different barrel lengths and chamberings and also feature a modular for-end that can be swapped to different lengths. In pistol form, the Bren 2 Ms comes with a flush rear plate that has the provision for attaching a AR-style buffer tube for the installation of an arm brace, cheek rest or similar pistol stabilizing device. For those who wish to SBR, a Carbine buffer tube and stock can be installed or the entire rear plate can be removed and replaced with a factory folding/adjustable stock.

At 5″ tall with a barrel length of just under 4″, the Compact model shaves a little more than 3/4″ off the length and about 1/2″ off the height of the full-size CZ 75. Its reduced size allows it to readily disappear under regular clothing. The CZ 75 DA/SA action with a manual safety lever provides the user with two options for carry: hammer-back with the safety on for single action operation or manually decocked for a double action first shot with no need to remember to take off the safety before firing. Because the 75 Compact retains the steel frame of the original 75, only 2.4 oz of weight is lost, making it the softest-shooting compact in the CZ 75 line.

The PCR name stands for ‘Police Czech Republic,’ the group for whom the model was originally designed. Nearly identical in size to the CZ 75 Compact, it weighs in at a full 1/4 pound lighter owing to its forged aluminum frame, making it more comfortable for everyday carry. Very similar to the P-01, the PCR uses the same alloy frame minus the light rail, making it even more concealable.
Equipped with a decocking lever, the PCR is designed to be decocked before holstering. After decocking, the trigger pull is much like that of a double action revolver. While there is no need to flip a safety lever off, the relatively longer and heavier trigger pull for the first round requires the conscious decision to pull the trigger before firing. Other additions to the PCR include rubber grip panels, serrated front and back straps for improved handling and a loaded chamber indicator.

The CZ P-10 C is much more than just our take on the striker-fired pistol, from the way it feels to the way it shoots. The CZ grip angle, a mild palm swell, deep beavertail, and three interchangeable backstraps make the gun fit a wide variety of hands as if it were built for them. Designed to minimize creep and stacking, the P-10's trigger breaks at a clean 4-4.5 lbs and rebounds with a short, positive reset, meaning single shots can be meticulously placed while follow-ups are effortless. Its fiber-reinforced polymer frame and hardy nitride finish are made for the daily grind. A generous trigger guard allows use with gloved hands while being undercut to allow as high a grip as possible, and a set of metal tactical 3-dot sights allow for one-handed manipulation of the slide on a belt. Like all CZ pistols, the P-10 is built with our legendary cold hammer forged barrel. The C in the name indicates that it is compact in both frame and slide size.
