The PCR name stands for ‘Police Czech Republic,’ the group for whom the model was originally designed. Nearly identical in size to the CZ 75 Compact, it weighs in at a full 1/4 pound lighter owing to its forged aluminum frame, making it more comfortable for everyday carry. Very similar to the P-01, the PCR uses the same alloy frame minus the light rail, making it even more concealable.
Equipped with a decocking lever, the PCR is designed to be decocked before holstering. After decocking, the trigger pull is much like that of a double action revolver. While there is no need to flip a safety lever off, the relatively longer and heavier trigger pull for the first round requires the conscious decision to pull the trigger before firing. Other additions to the PCR include rubber grip panels, serrated front and back straps for improved handling and a loaded chamber indicator.

At 5″ tall with a barrel length of just under 4″, the Compact model shaves a little more than 3/4″ off the length and about 1/2″ off the height of the full-size CZ 75. Its reduced size allows it to readily disappear under regular clothing. The CZ 75 DA/SA action with a manual safety lever provides the user with two options for carry: hammer-back with the safety on for single action operation or manually decocked for a double action first shot with no need to remember to take off the safety before firing. Because the 75 Compact retains the steel frame of the original 75, only 2.4 oz of weight is lost, making it the softest-shooting compact in the CZ 75 line.
Built from scratch at CZ Custom the A01 is the evolution of the Shadow series as Angus would have done it. The frame is the star of the show and is hammer-forged CNC-machined and then blued. Very obvious is its massively heavy dust cover which kills both recoil and muzzle rise. With a deep beavertail undercut trigger guard raised 25 LPI checkering and an internal magwell it combines classic CZ 75 ergonomics with purpose-driven features ideal for competition. To ensure that the trigger is up to snuff both the hammer and the sear are directly pinned in the frame to solidify trigger pull consistency. DA pull weight is from 8-8.5 lbs. while SA clocks in at 3-3.5 lbs. and a short reset is standard. The trigger itself is lifted from the CZ 85 Combat. The slide is CNC machined from 4140 bar stock and features front and rear serrations and CZ Custom low-mount rear sight and fiber-optic front. The CZ 2075 RAMI BD is a decocking version of the classic RAMI design available only in 9mm Luger. The BD RAMI gives the user a decocking lever to lower the hammer for a double action first shot and single action thereafter. The BD RAMI also includes a set of tritium 3-dot combat night sights.
