    The new optics-ready M&P FPC showcases a brand new, compact, folding design. The carbine ships with (one) 17-round and (two) 23-round magazines. The black polymer stock on the rifle includes "in-stock" magazine storage with a quick-release latch. This storage compartment holds two magazines. Additionally, the Smith & Wesson M&P FPC is compatible with S&W M&P full-size and compact pistol double-stack magazines. Need a place to keep it all together? No problem. Smith & Wesson even includes a carrying bag with additional storage and Velcro straps. This full sized folding carbine also features an integrated recoil buffer system, a horizontal folding mechanise (with locking latch), a charging slide/handle that doubles as a retainer when folded, and a 16.25" 4140 steel, threaded, barrel (thread pattern 1/2"x28 tpi). It also comes with a M-LOK handguard with top Picatinny-style rail for mounting optics, a flat trigger, a hard-coat black anodized aluminum receiver and frame, and a stainless steel bolt carrier. The horizontal folding design allows you to fold the carbine without having to remove any top mounted optics. This feature-packed FPC is made in the U.S.A. and is backed by Smith & Wesson's limited lifetime service policy.
