The M&P Shield M2.0 with No Thumb Safety builds upon the success of the best-selling M&P Shield pistol line through notable enhancements, including the M&P M2.0 crisp trigger with lighter trigger pull, a tactile and audible trigger reset, and aggressive grip texture for enhanced control. Those familiar with the M&P Shield product line will recognize the familiar, slim profile and 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim. The M&P Shield M2.0 pistol series features a 3.1” barrel, and ships with one standard and one extended grip magazine.
The next evolution of the M&P Shield EZ pistol, the M&P9 Shield EZ encompasses all of the M&P Shield EZ features now in the powerful 9mm caliber.
Built for personal and home protection, the new M&P9 Shield EZ is easy-to-rack, easy-to-load, easy-to-shoot and easy-to-clean, appealing to a wide range of consumers seeking out these popular features. The M&P9 Shield EZ pistol ships with two 8 round magazines that feature a load assist tab for quick, easy loading, as well as a picatinny-style equipment rail to accommodate accessories. The pistol also features an optimal M&P pistol 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim, white-dot front and adjustable white-dot rear sights, and a light, crisp trigger.
The Performance Center Ported M&P Shield pistol is standard with an 18-degree grip angle and a fixed, textured backstrap with additional texturing at the forward portion of the grip. An extended trigger guard allows for operation with or without gloves. The new M&P Shield pistol is also engineered with a Performance Center sear for a quick trigger reset and a Performance Center striker plunger for an enhanced trigger pull. Internal features mirror the standard M&P Series of pistols. The stainless steel internal chassis reduces flex while providing a stable shooting platform. The low-bore axis helps maintain ease-of-use and a comfortable feel. A passive trigger safety prevents the pistol from firing if dropped and a sear release lever eliminates the need to press the trigger in order to disassemble the firearm. A loaded chamber indicator is located on top of the barrel.
The Performance Center Ported M&P Shield pistol is shipped with both an extended and flat magazine offering consumers the ability to customize the length of the grip. The 9mm Performance Center Ported M&P Shield pistol offers an 8+1 or 7+1 magazine capacity.
