Operation of the G2C is straightforward, thanks to a striker-fire, double-action trigger system that includes restrike capability. A manual, external safety is located conveniently above the thumb for quick manipulation in stressful conditions. The reversible magazine release is also ergonomically positioned for rapid, one-hand mag drops during tactical mag changes. Integrated into the G2C frame is a Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail to accept an accessory light or a laser.

In planning the newest model in the G - series of compact handguns, Taurus engineers were guided by two key objectives: retain and refine the key attributes which have made the G2c so popular with shooters and everyday carry practitioners while integrating new features designed to enhance overall performa nce, durability, and customization potential. The new G3c delivers on all fronts. The G3c upgrades begin with the slide. The standard rear serrations are now accompanied by serrations at the front of the slide to provide a more tactile surface area for more positive grip. A visual chamber indicator replaces the mechanical indicator found on the G2c, reducing parts and streamlining the slide profile.

The Tenifer finish delivers more robust surface integrity to minimize scuffing and maximize corrosion resistance.
