A 100-year history of military and sporting superiority. Few hunting rifles in history have achieved the status of the Browning BAR. And no other autoloaders have even come close. The line covers a wide range of tastes from the original styling of the BAR Safari, to the working rifle look of the Stalker version to the feature packed Short and Long Trac versions with modern aesthetics and handling features. Browning's BAR has a long-standing tradition for achieving bolt action like accuracy in an autoloading rifle. The gas system combined with a 7-lug rotary bolt give the shooting significant recoil reduction for comfort, while at the same time locking in bolt action-like accuracy. The fluted stock design incorporates a full pistol grip with an undercut and is contoured, while the forearm is full and hand-filling. It utilizes a crossbolt safety, detachable box magazine with a hinged floorplate and sling swivel studs on the stock and forearm. The MK 3 (Mark III) is the hunting rifle that sets the bar for every other autoloader on the planet with accuracy and speed. It features a hammer-forged steel barrel and aluminum alloy receiver. This BAR Mark III Stalker 30-06 Springfield model has a 22" barrel and synthetic composite stock with classic style lines and shim adjustable cast and drop at comb.

Short Action. Long Action. Ready for Any Action. As a rule, lever-action aficionados have always had to trade away power and accuracy for quick handling and easy carrying. With the Browning BLR those compromises are a thing of the past. The design of the BLR is as modern as tomorrow with an aircraft-grade alloy receiver, glass-smooth rack and pinion system and multi-lug rotating bolt that handles many of the most popular magnum cartridges, including the fast new WSMs. The exceptional accuracy of the BLR comes from its precision machined, button-rifled barrel that puts those fast-stepping magnum bullets exactly where they're wanted. Add in the advantages of several great stock designs and finishes, a detachable box magazine, low profile adjustable sights and a wide, grooved trigger that travels with the lever to avoid pinching fingers and it's clear the Browning BLR is ready for any action. You are never limited to flat nose bullets. Most lever-action rifles suffer from accuracy problems caused by the limitations of the flat-nosed ammunition for which they are chambered. Not the Browning BLR. The BLR utilizes a reliable box magazine that protects bullet tips and allows it to fire powerful game-dropping magnum cartridges. An extremely smooth rack and pinion-driven bolt locks tight to the barrel and gives the BLR the kind of superior accuracy that rivals many bolt-actions.

Two Browning creations combined.  John M. Browning invented both the Model 1911 pistol and the 380 ACP cartridge.  Whether he ever intended to pair the two we'll never know for sure.  The Browning 1911-380 isn't a full size 1911, it's built to approximately 85% of the scale of the original 1911 pistol chambered in 45 ACP. The 1911-380 is a faithful replica, fulfilling the sense of duty to the original and copiously tested to ensure accuracy, function and the feel you should expect from a pistol bearing the Browning name.

The Right 380.  The 1911-380 is a single-action design with a locking, tilting barrel like the original.  The 8-round magazine is made from heat-treated steel for long service life.  Beginners and experts alike enjoy shooting the 1911-380.  The light, single-action trigger is confidence inspiring, easier to use and more accurate for new shooters than a longer double-action trigger.  Shooting the 1911-380 reveals a remarkably controlled handgun.  Recoil is light and easy to control with the normally snappy 380 ACP cartridge.
