We designed this rifle with the highest attention to detail and beauty. The main panel features an American Beauty Rose embellished with a floral scroll pattern. Beneath the rose is the banner AMERICAN BEAUTY. Hand-cut by master engraver Heidi Roos, the rose and other elements are mechanically transferred onto the nickel plated receiver cover using a hand cut master. This meticulous process helps retain the bright cuts of the original art, which is then further enhanced with 14K rose gold plating so the petals look like they’re in bloom.

Our lever actions are no strangers to the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting, and Gene Pearcy’s alter ego, Evil Roy, is one of the best-known names in the game. Slick and quick, the Evil Roy model features a very distinctive bright (but not too bright) brushed finish on the receiver and a nickel plated barrel band, a short’n handy 16.5” octagon barrel that balances well and hangs lighter for smaller shooters, an intermediate-length stock to fit everybody from Little Buckaroo CAS shooters on up to full-sized adults, the Frontier’s stock angle with less drop than some of our models (a good fit for scope use), fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear and tall bead front sights, a large-loop lever for style points, and an Evil Roy “signature” branded into the walnut stock at the rear. This is a near exact replica of the 1875 Remington carried by famous outlaw Frank James, brother to Jesse James. The original, which was surrendered to Governor Crittenden in 1882, now resides in the Autry Museum in California. Frank comes in full nickel-plated steel with an ivory-style grip.
