The Century Arms Micro Draco chambered in 7.62x39mm is an ultra-compact and portable, pistol version of the venerable AK47. This micro-sized powerhouse packs a big punch thanks to the heavy projectile and ballistic nature of the 7.62x39mm round which remains effective even when fired from shorter barrels. The Micro Draco weighs in at just 4.85 lbs. with a 6.25″ hard chrome-lined, hammer forged, threaded barrel and overall length of just 14.5″. The Micro features a stamped receiver, standard AK controls and compatibility with most AK parts as well as all AK magazines. Internally the Micro differs from the standard AK in its use of a short gas piston and polymer buffer pad to keep the bolt carrier group in place while cycling.
